Tea For Your Brain

Tea is an excellent antioxidant for your brain and body. Green, black, or white versions are all good for you. Consuming these easy to make brews are a fantastic way of getting free radical fighters into your body.

One cup gives you about one quarter of your daily total antioxidant requirement. Antioxidants destroy cell killing free radicals. Drink plenty for good brain health.

Green varieties have the amino acid L-Theanine. This amino acid contributes to feelings of calm and relaxation.

Studies have shown that black varieties are as effective as green for antioxidant strength, if not more so.

Some milk or cream in your brew is okay. If you like it black then all the better for you. Research indicates that milk molecules bind with the antioxdants. This prevents your body from reaping the antioxidant rewards.

These brews are a wonderful way to get antioxidant protection. They promote relaxation too! You can even drink them iced. Just make sure you use the real stuff not the store bought sugar loaded versions. Sip your brew knowing that it's having a powerful positive affect on your brain and body. Enjoy!
